I bring over 20 years’ experience working at a senior level in HR. I’ve been fortunate to work across a wide range of sectors, including Manufacturing, Aerospace, Engineering, Education, the Waste Sector and the Pet Industry. Alongside this, I have extensive experience operating within heavily unionised environments, giving me broad and adaptable expertise.
I am CIPD Level 7 qualified in Human Resource Management and an Associate Member of the CIPD. I am also a Certified Wellbeing and Mindfulness Coach, ensuring a supportive, thoughtful approach when you engage with me as your consultant.
I am passionate about delivering a professional, solution-focused service to support and guide you through all aspects of people management. This ranges from general HR advice to complex case management, including absence, capability (both performance and medical), disciplinary matters and grievances.
Taking a holistic approach, I design and deliver bespoke training to develop your people. I pride myself on working collaboratively, empowering you to successfully deliver your people plans.
I have partnered closely with senior leaders and directors to shape and drive strategic people initiatives with a seat at the table for such meetings, including large-scale projects that enhance organisational performance. My experience also includes building effective relationships with third parties, leading union pay negotiations, supporting changes in health providers, and implementing new approaches to strengthen capability processes.
